Accessibility

We want CarpathianStays to be usable by everyone. We aim for the WCAG 2.1 AA standard and build the site to be operable by keyboard, readable by screen readers, and legible at high zoom.

What we do

• Semantic headings and landmark regions, with a skip-to-content link.
• Visible keyboard focus and full keyboard operability of forms.
• Labelled form fields with clear, non-colour-only error messages.
• Alternative text on meaningful images and colour contrast checked against AA.

Known limitations

The interactive map and a few third-party embeds are still being improved, and some older journal entries may lack complete alternative text. We are working through these.
