Bran Castle was not Vlad the Impaler's home and was never lived in by Bram Stoker. But it has the silhouette: a steep limestone cliff, narrow corkscrew passages, a turret that catches the morning fog. The interior is now a museum to Queen Marie of Romania, who restored it in the 1920s — that part is more interesting than the Dracula gift shop at the bottom.
