Sibiel — Glass Icon Museum

Father Zosim Oancea spent forty years collecting peasant-painted glass icons from the villages of the Mărginimea Sibiului — naive, religious, often with tiny saints riding angry-looking sheep. The collection of 600+ icons hangs in a single room next to the village church. Worth an unhurried hour. Combine with a cheese-making morning at one of the village shepherds.
